Okay, so it’s not really top secret – it’s a free website called Babyfit.com. Three months after having my doll baby I was not incredibly happy with my figure. I had only managed to lose 20 of the 40 pounds I had gained during my pregnancy. Since I am breastfeeding (and training for my first triathlon) I needed to find a tool that would ensure I get enough calories. That’s when I found Babyfit.com. Here are three reasons why I love this tool:

1) It’s free! You can’t beat that.

2) Meal plans. I would like to think eating a whole box of Samoa Girl Scout Cookies in one sitting is perfectly acceptable, but the scale tells me otherwise. One of the features I use a lot on Babyfit.com is their meal planner. I have already lost five pounds in three weeks! I could have lost more, but my order of Girl Scout Cookies arrived and I couldn’t resist.

3) Forums and support. The site has several forums where you can start or join a discussion. You can find a lot of support from fellow moms or soon to be moms in addition to Babyfit.com’s nutritionists.

I could list even more reasons why I love this resource, but why not see for yourself?!

About Meg
Meg is a city girl living in a small town as a stay-at-home mom. She blogs about her adventures as a first-time parent while adjusting to life outside of the city. You can find stories related to her transition into motherhood under the Small Town Living and Triathlon Training (her attempt to shed the baby weight) sections. She also takes photos around her small town under the Small Town Photos section. But by far, her favorite section on her blog is Small Town Lingo – a tool to help any city-folk understand just what the heck small town people are really saying.
