Mark your calendar for this once-in-a-lifetime event—monsters becoming musicians! Elmo, The Count, Cookie Monster, Big Bird, Bert & Ernie and all their funny and furry friends are taking to the stage to share the magical world of music with children. The characters teach children, and themselves, that everyone has the ability to make beautiful music, whether they realize it or not.

Congrats to Janet W. for winning a family four-pack of tickets to see the show in Atlanta! Sesame Street Live – Elmo Makes Music was Haley’s first show at the @PhilipsArena! She’s almost 2-years-old so sitting through a long show is usually out of the question. My oldest, who is almost 3, barely has the patience to sit still!

The show was great for all ages who love Sesame Street! It wasn’t too long. Total it lasted about 2 hours with a small 15 min intermission. Both my girls had lots of fun singing and dancing. I think my mom sang ‘The Alphabet Song’ louder than anyone there! (sorry mom, love you)

We ate yummy popcorn and coke and Natalie fell in love with the Elmo balloons. We lucked out with great seats in the second row! It was fun seeing the characters come off the stage and out into the audience! We actually got to see them close up and touch them! Haley was a little scared but she was fine as long as she didn’t get too close.

Do da hustle 3 Up

My favorite part would have to be when Bert came out doing “The Hustle”. The crowd went crazy! “DO DA HUSTLE!” Sesame Street Live – Elmo Makes Music is headed to Alabama next and then Florida so be sure to find some tickets near you!
