After Haley was born, I did a newborn photoshoot which resulted in some of my all time favorite photos! In 2011, I ordered a 16×20 canvas and I had a hard time deciding on the picture with both my girls or one of just Haley. I ended up going with the one of both my girls (pictured below) but I still always wanted one of just Haley – and now I’ve got it!!
I’ve been wanting the canvas print of Haley, not only because it’s a beautiful picture, but it reminds me of that day we took the pictures! Haley was just a few days old and Natalie was still mesmerizer by her tiny-ness and having a new baby sister altogether. She seemed so grown up then, but she seems so little now that I look back over a year later.
I took Haley’s diaper off for this picture – mainly just to keep it out of the way. I initially had my husband holding her but after we removed the diaper he refused to hold her so we traded spots and he took the pictures while I held her. Smart move on his part because after the first few clicks she peed all down the front of my shirt!
The canvas of Haley is just a little smaller than the other one. It’s 11×14 but it’s the perfect size. It’s almost the actual size she was when the pictures was taken.
