It’s very hard for me to get my girls both in a good mood and sitting still at the same time, but I’ve found it easier (and less stressful) just to let them play and try to use the available light and photograph them just being themselves. Here’s a few pictures I recently took of them playing with balloons after we decorated for Valentines Day. (I also gave them options and let them decide what they wanted to wear. I think they did a marvelous job!)
I absolutely love something about this photo of Haley. It reminds me of those old vintage photographs where the people never smile.
I love this one too. Natalie is trying to comfort Haley while she’s crying.
