My brother is in town from Texas. He got here on Friday, the same day my dad was scheduled for surgery but luckily my dad is tough so he’s been getting around pretty good considering we’ve been on-the-go everyday since then.
He had a routine surgery to remove a swollen lymph node. My dad has Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL) and we’re praying that the biopsy results show no progression with his cancer and hoping he won’t need any chemotherapy. We should find out this week.
Me and my dad
The whole family (almost) together for Father’s Day
And of course….. I made cupcakes for the special occasion.

Prayers for your father. Those cupcakes look wonderful!
Praying for your dad! Seems like I hear about someone with some form of leukemia every few days since my goddaughter was diagnosed with it in November.
What a great family picture!!
First sending positive thoughts to your dad. Wow, that’s a big family. How many brothers/sisters? Happy WW
Thank you! I’m the youngest. I have 3 sisters and 1 brother. So there are 5 of use total. One of my sisters isn’t in this picture.
Praying that your dad gets good news back from the doctor. It’s great that so many members of your family were able to get together for Father’s Day!
Oh those cupcakes are calling my name
What a treasure to have your nearly your whole family together. As me and my sisters move further away it is just so special to see us all together at once.
