One of my goals this year is to take one photo every single day! I would like to take my daily photo with my Canon 6D but my iPhone 4S will also work.
Picking your camera up daily forces you to learn your camera better and shoot things that you otherwise might not have captured.
I tried doing this a few years back and it didn’t work out because it was too hard to post once a day SO instead I will be posting weekly. 52 blog posts sounds much easier than 365, right?!
Here’s my first 3 days. I’ll post again next Wednesday.
Day 1
My daughter Natalie playing with confetti for New Years
Day 2
My awesome Family Planner Binder for 2014
Day 3
My daughter Haley playing with the kitty cat first thing this morning
I’m joining a great group of peeps who are also taking this journey with me! If you would like to join us, please join the Project 365 Blogging Support Group for more details or click the image below.
That sounds like a great project. I am not sure I would make the whole year.
Love the cat picture, so cute and what a precious photo to have! I want to start something like this, I got a new camera (just came late last night, I haven’t even had a chance to charge it yet lol). I got a Canon T3i and I can’t wait to learn all about it, but probably won’t have much of a chance until next week when the kids go back to school. Our weekend is pretty packed but hopefully I can get it out of the box later today lol.
You can do it! It only takes a second to pull it out and snap a photo! I also had a Canon T3i (I just upgraded in Nov. When I first got it I tried taking a photo everyday for 365 days. I didn’t complete it but I learned so much about my camera by trying to pick it up daily! The best way to learn it is to use it! I keep telling my sister the same thing! She also has a Canon T3i!
I am in love with the picture of your daughter with the confetti. It’s so cute. I would love to do this, but I can’t commit to 365 days of photos LOL.
I would love to be a part of a support group. I do my pictures on tumblr and I have joined in on the 365 day challenge. I will do a dump weekly my cell phone takes bad pictures but my other camera is on constantly.
Hmm well I guess I should add the link to my post so anyone can join. I can’t add you unless were FB friends I guess. Here’s the link – https://www.facebook.com/groups/CatchTheMoment365/ Then you’ll just need to request to join the group! And they’ll approve you!
It looks as if you already know how to work your camera quite well- very nice pictures! I guess it helps that your kiddos are super cute too 🙂
I absolutely love the last picture. I can’t wait to see what you come up with this year!
Your pictures already look fabulous! I can only see you improving more!!
Sounds like a great project. I love your photos! That kitty one is especially adorable.
I’ve tried to do this prompt a few times but I always forget. Then I am left without a pic for days at a time!
I am absolutely loving and being so inspired by your pictures so far and we’re only 3 days in! Keep it up and thanks for joining us!
I think this is a great idea. It seems like it will be fun to take a photo each day and then look back at it a year later.
I always want to do a day photo for the year, but it’s just too much for me.. One day! Good Luck to you!! Beautiful pics!
i’ve been so bad about photos lately and i’m not sure why! i need a kick in the pants like this
I’m so bad at keeping up with these challenges but I wish I wasn’t because it would help get me in the habit of taking photos of non-blog stuff more often.
I’m joining the challenge this year, too.
I have tried several times and have never completed it.
As my oldest daughter is 12 now, I feel like life is slipping by and I desperately want to capture it to remember by.
Your pics are wonderful. I also hope to learn from others about photography through this challenge.
Love the pic of your girl with the confetti!
What a neat challenge. Love the pictures, thanks for sharing.
These are some beautiful pictures! I really love the fact that they look so natural, and professional too!
I would love to take more pictures of me with my children. I am always behind the camera, so this year i’d like to be in front a bit more!
Love the picture of your daughter with the kitten. Such a cute photo. 🙂
I said I was going to start this too but I haven’t. I’m going to try my best to start next week
i always have intentions of doing this but it’s the 4th and I’ve already failed and taking a pic a day. I think if I made myself a note each day it would probably help
this looks like a great challenge!
Love all of your pictures so far and looking forward to seeing more of them! That binder looks amazing. Love the first shot of your girlie playing with confetti – it’s the little things in life, you know!?
Oh my gosh, these pictures are amazing! I’m almost embarrassed to post mine now! Love seeing these moments in your life.
