We took the girls to see the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey circus on the opening night of the “Built To Amaze” show at the Gwinnett Center on Wednesday.
We’ve actually taken the girls to see the circus every single year since Natalie was born. I was pregnant with Haley the first time we went.
The show is different every year so every time we go there’s always something new to see.
The All-Access Pre-show (which is included with your ticket) is an hour before the show starts.
Everyone is invited down to the show floor to try on costumes, learn circus skills, meet the performers and get their picture taken with the clowns!
Natalie was sooo shy and Haley was all smiles which is funny because it’s usually the other way around.
You can also enter for a chance to win an original pachyderm painting, which is painted right in front of you by one of the world famous elephants and you can get some really stylish clown noses.
My husband was actually giddy about the show this year. This is the first time he’s ever been to The Arena at Gwinnett Center and I’ve only been to a show there once.
The Gwinnett Arena is much closer to home for us and they have good (free) parking unlike Atlanta. Plus we had really good seats which is always nice.
Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Presents Built To Amaze will be at The Arena at Gwinnett Center Feb. 5- 9 and at Philips Arena Feb. 12-17, 2014.
Visit Ringling.com to see the full show times near you and save 20% on tickets with the promo code GASSOUTH.
All seats are reserved, and tickets are available at The Arena at Gwinnett Center and Philips Arena Box Office, online by visiting http://www.gwinnettcenter.com (Duluth), http://www.ticketmaster.com (Philips) or via phone by calling 888-9-AXS-TIX (Duluth) or 1-800-745-3000 (Philips).

OH I’m SO jealous! We went to the circus earlier this year but I was shocked that there wasn’t a single clown!! (It was a Barnum circus) Your trip to the circus looks like such a great time!
Hey, you guys look good with a clown nose!! 🙂 The pics are fun, and it looks like a really nice circus!
Ringling Bros is a true 3 ring circus, and one of the largest touring ones. I am still up in the air over elephant training treatment, which is why I haven’t attended in many years.
I know what you mean Lindsey. I was actually more concerned with the tigers this year. They look terrified the entire time. It was cute at the end where they acted like the tiger was going to eat the trainer though! Haha
That looks like so much fun! Thanks for sharing all your pictures with us!
What fun! It has been years since I have been to a Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey circus. And my kids have never been. A shame, I know. I’ll need to check out tickets for us and take my kids. They’ll have a blast.
My grandkids go 2/15 to that circus in Philadelphia. My daughter is taken them. She takes them every year.
I haven’t been to the circus in AGES and you just made me remember how much I have been wanting to take my boys!! I must see if the show is coming to Boston soon!
I have to say kudos to the ladies that balance on the elephants. I don’t mind a good roller coaster, but for some reason the idea of being on top of a giant, living creature scares me to death! lol Definitely an amazing talent.
Haha I was thinking the same thing while we were there! They just jumped right up on them too! There was a part in the show where the elephants were sitting up and I kept thinking any second it was going to fall backwards right on top of her!
We haven’t been to the circus in years. It’s always here in ct around my birthday 🙂
Seems like you had a great time! I’ve never really attended a circus, but it looks like so much fun. I should try it sometime this year!
I love Ringling Bros. Circus! What beautiful daughters you have! Love all the beautiful pics too!
I haven’t been to a circus in years! It looks like ya’ll had a ton of fun!
My family made it a tradition that every Thanksgiving we would ALL packup and head to the circus. When I saw ALL I mean ALL we took up one whole section and we LOVED it. My husband hates the circus though so that’s a tradition I’ve had to leave behind 🙁 But I LOVED seeing your pictures of the circus 🙂
Aw that sounds like fun. When I was younger my parents took me once but I hardly even remember it. My husband isn’t usually a fan of these types of things either. I was surprised he was in such a good mood!
The elephants are just beautiful. We don’t attend circuses but it looks like all the kids had a great time!
I love the circus, and I’m a grown adult! Your pictures are beautiful; it looks like every member of the family had a wonderful time at the circus.
Wow, this looks like so much fun! I want to go to the circus!
I haven’t been to the circus in a while… your photos bring back memories… I’d love to visit again.
How fun! It’s been a while since I took my boys to the circus.
I think this is coming our way soon. We really need to take the boys!
Your children look like they really enjoyed themselves! I love the little hats they are wearing!
We used to go to ther circus every year. Its been a couple years sin e our last visit
We keep trying to take our toddler to the circus, but something always comes up. I used to love going to Ringling Brothers Circus when I was young.
How fun! I have really been wanting to take my son.

I love the circus. We go every year that they come to our town.
