We’ve been wanting to replace our thermostats since we bought our house last year! And the wait was totally worth it though! My husband is absolutely thrilled with the new Honeywell Wi-Fi Smart Thermostats! Like seriously, giddy as a teenage girl!

We actually have two separate ac units so we need a thermostat for upstairs and downstairs. We also have gas heat so I wasn’t sure if everything was compatible but the setup was very quick and painless!

First, we (and by we I mean the hubs) labeled the wires with the labels that came with the Honeywell thermostat. Then connected all the wires. Easy-peasy.

Our old thermostats were much larger, so after we got the Honeywell Wi-Fi Smart Thermostat installed, we had to touch up the wall and paint around the unit. Everything looks perfect now!

The downstairs thermostat is right at the bottom of our stairs so every morning when I get up I can see the indoor and outdoor temp, as well as the humidity. I really love that it’s easy to see and does not need batteries! For some stupid reason, our old touch screen thermostats had batteries. Idiotic really. Ain’t nobody got time for that!

We keep the downstairs thermostat display very bright, it actually lights up the stairway at night for us. The upstairs unit is in our bedroom and I don’t like a lot of light while I sleep so I’m glad the thermostat lets you adjust the brightness. We have ours turned down very low but you can set it to turn black completely, if needed.

Custom Schedule: My husband has the upstairs thermostat scheduled to kick the heat on just before his alarm goes off, that way the bathroom is warm and toasty before he jumps in the shower!
Convenient App: I can control the temperature while laying in bed! The free app lets you control your thermostat from your computer, tablet and smartphone, whether you’re across the room or around the world! Available for iOS and Android devices.
Touchscreen Display: You can set the color scheme of the thermostat to match the colors of your home! It also shows the current outside temp and indoor humidity!
Simple Setup: No new wiring needed for installation. I was actually quite surprised at how quickly my husband hooked it up and had it running!
Auto Alerts: Filter change reminders and extreme temperature alerts are sent to your connected devices and are displayed on the thermostat, so you’ll never miss an alert!
