Welcome to Project 52.
One theme, one photo, once a week. Simple.
My mother-in-law has a million bird feeders at her house. I knew this would make a great “movement” shot when I saw all the hummingbirds flying around.
I stood very still and waited patiently for him to fly up. I had to stand fairly close since I was shooting with a prime lens and couldn’t zoom. I love how you can still see the quick movement in his wings.

My favorite photo for the “light” theme is from Kandi at Sweet Country Chaos. I was shocked that the water was from rain! It looks like a lake!

Thank you for the feature! I love your hummingbird picture! We need to get more feeders up around our place. My daughter loves bird watching.
I have always wanted to try a hummingbird feeder. I love the idea of a weekly theme. I tried this a couple of times a while back for a daily one and if I missed a day I felt bad and stopped. I think I’m going to give this a try.
great picture!
That is such a great picture and I’ve always loved humming birds! I want to get in on this challenge!
What a great capture! I love watching hummingbirds. We occasionally see some dart out of the woods behind our house headed to our neighbor’s feeders.
Seriously amazing!!! I really need to break out my big girl camera! Mine is another cell phone shot this week.
What a truly perfect shot.
I love hummingbirds!
