The Caribbean is a prime spot for family vacations, as every island has its own unique mix of fun and relaxing activities available for all ages. Whether you’re booking Barbados flights or cruising from the US Virgin Islands to the Bahamas and St. Lucia, you can be assured that a good time is in store for all. Barbados
Whether you want to try Scuba diving and snorkeling amongst coral reefs and shipwrecks or exploring the diverse ecological paradise of Hunte’s pristinely designed gardens. Perhaps you fancy discovering seaside caves like Harrison’s and Animal Flower, or just kicking back on the white sands of Carlisle Bay. US Virgin Islands—St Thomas and St John
The USVI’s two best islands offer visitors a unique experience to be remembered. St. John’s is the smaller and more relaxed island, best for families with younger children that wish to spend most of their time relaxing on the tranquil tropical beaches. St. Thomas is slightly busier, though there are still miles of white sandy beaches for you to enjoy. This slightly larger island also contains more historical sites and activities for families with older kids who are looking to set out on a more cultural endeavor.
Bahamas
The Bahamas is made up of 700 islands and cays, that range from small, uninhabited sand bars to resort and activity packed islands like Grand Bahama. The latter features iconic all-inclusive resorts that are home to water adventures, spas, and golf courses— everything your family could possibly want at your doorstep. For those after a little more seclusion, there are plenty of opportunities to rent self-catering properties, though more remote islands may be a little more difficult to get to.
Puerto Rico
Puerto Rico is home to an eclectic mix of cultural activities, historic sites, and water and beach sports. St. Lucia—Rodney Bay and Soufriere
The picturesque island of St. Lucia contains two very distinct but equally tantalizing destinations. In the south, lies Soufriere, nestled between the towering Pitons and the verdant beauty of old plantations.
