Yesterday we attended a special preview of the new DC SUPER FRIENDS kids area at Six Flags Over Georgia! A lot of schools in the area are still in session until Friday so it was a perfect day for Six flags! Sunny skies and no lines! The new DC SUPER FRIENDS area officially opens to the public this Saturday, May 28th!
Wednesday was the last day of school for us! Natalie will be going into 1st Grade and Haley will be starting Kindergarten next year! A trip to Six Flags was the perfect way to kick-off our summer break!
Wonder Woman and Batman were there to help celebrate the grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony for the new DC SUPER FRIENDS area.
Last time we waited in line for two hours to ride the Mindbender, and this time there wasn’t any wait time. All the lines were so short, you could literally sit on the same rollercoaster and ride it over and over.
With the Bugs Bunny Boomtown kids area that opened earlier this year, and now the new DC SUPER FRIENDS area, Six Flags Over Georgia has added 12 new attractions in 2016 designed for the entire family to enjoy together.
The all-new DC SUPER FRIENDS area features five exciting rides and attractions, including:
[1] SUPERMAN Tower of Power: Unleash your inner dare devil and man of steel during this 65-foot tall bouncing thrill tower. This drop tower ride is perfect for the entire family of Super Heroes!
[2] The BATCOPTERS: This is your opportunity to help save the City of Gotham with the caped crusader himself by flying high in the sky and pointing out the villains of GOTHAM so BATMAN can take them out!
[3] WONDER WOMAN Flight School: We believe everyone should get to learn how to pilot their own invisible jet, and WONDER WOMAN has taken it upon herself to teach the class how to soar through the skies!
[4] HARLEY QUINN Games: A chance to step into the devious world of Harley Quinn to test your skills against the family in this room full of arcade games!
[5] THE JOKER Funhouse Coaster: Step into the funhouse and enjoy the ultimate family thrill ride. Show the clown prince of crime you have no fear and conquer the Super-Villain through 900 feet of track at 30 miles per hour!
We had a great time trying out the new rides and then we spent the rest of the day exploring other areas of the park. My girls are quite the thrill seekers! Haley posed and asked me to take this photo of her (with her water) for my post. The five-year-old demanded it, and it turned out to be a cute photo, so here it is! This is her second time visiting Six Flags, and she would ride every roller coaster in the park if she was tall enough! She cried because she couldn’t ride the Goliath.

We used to have a Six Flags in Denver that had a similar theme and it was awesome. Six Flags pulled their sponsorship and with that went the superheros. It was really fun and this park looks great too
Looks like fun. We’re looking to plan a back-to-school trip and this would be ideal since the kids love Marvel, too. Thanks for sharing. – Yolo
