Disney on Ice “Follow Your Heart” is in Atlanta until Sunday, October 9th at Philips Arena. The girls dressed up as princesses for the opening night performance on Wednesday.
This was our 7th Disney On Ice experience. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, if you’re going to spend money on any type of show, Disney On Ice is the way to go! Every show is completely different, so there’s always something new to see no matter how many times you’ve been.
We saw Joy, Sadness, and the rest of the Emotions from Inside Out; Olaf and the royal sisters Anna and Elsa from Frozen; Buzz Lightyear, Woody and the Toy Story gang; Cinderella, Rapunzel, Ariel and other Disney Princesses; Dory and new pal Hank from Finding Dory; and of course, the classic Mickey and Minnie characters.
The Follow Your Heart show lasted about 2.5 hours with a quick intermission halfway through. We always bring jackets or blankets because it’s usually cold in there with all the ice. The blankets aren’t necessary but kids enjoy having them there.
They always start the show right on time, so get there early so you can get your seats and some snacks, and leave yourself some extra time for Atlanta traffic. You wouldn’t want to miss any of the show!
