Our elf has arrived and brought a new Scout Elf friend! My girls made a “Welcome Back” sign the night before they arrived, and when they woke up the next morning, our Scout Elf and his Elf Pets® Reindeer had returned with a new GIRL Scout Elf and an Elf Pets® Saint Bernard Pup.
The elves brought their own Scout Elves at Play® kit to surprise us with each morning, some extra changes of clothes, and some new pajamas for the Elf Pets®.
To celebrate we threw a Welcome Back party complete with the Scout Elf Party Pack! The party pack came with plates, cups, napkins, party hats, cupcakes toppers, stickers, fun games, a tablecloth, and a centerpiece! Everything you need for the perfect elf party!
My girls were thrilled about having a new girl Scout Elf, but my youngest daughter was extremely excited about the new Elf Pets® pup.
Unlike the elves, they are meant to be loved and hugged. My girls take turns sleeping with the pup and the reindeer every night.
We served large cupcakes and mini cupcakes for our elf friends. We played pin the tail on the reindeer, and we also wrote letters to Santa with our neighborhood friends.
The Letters to Santa comes with Santa’s Special Paper that can be baked in the oven Mrs. Claus’ Magic Press until your letter shrinks to elf-size so they can easily be carried to the North Pole.
Then after the letters have been read by Santa, the elves return from the North Pole and hang them on your Christmas tree as a beautiful keepsake ornament! My oldest daughter asked for a guitar, and my youngest asked for a baby doll with a bottle.
We have chosen the name Rainbow for our new girl Scout Elf. She seems to be adjusting well to her new surrounding, and surprising us with unique ideas that the girls have never seen before!
This is our 5th of 6th year of the elf, so I have really been struggling for ideas this year. Love the cupcakes!!
Do you have a Scout Elves at Play® kit? If not you should totally get one! It has lots of great ideas and all the tools you need!
My kid have always love Elf on the Shelf. Ever since the first year we did it, the kids have waited all year for the Elf to make his triumphant return.
Aww, it’s time for some elf mischief again! I’m loving the Elf Pets and the Letters to Santa too. Super cute!
The Letters to Santa was one of my favorite activities we’ve done so far. Ours only took 3 minutes in the oven to shrink down to tiny letters.
We love Elf on the Shelf! I personally don’t understand the negativity to something so magical for kids.
Agreed!
We got an elf on the Shelf this year. I love helping the kids search for her every morning!
We did Elf on the Shelf last year and I struggled to come up with ideas for it. The Elves at Play kit sounds like a great way to make sure you have fresh ideas.
This is so fun! My son loves Elf on the shelf, and it is great that they have a girl elf! I love the elf pets too! We definitely need to have a welcome back party! How fun!
Our kids have the reindeer, and they love it. I would love to introduce the pup to them this year.
You just reminded me to take down our Elf on the Shelf. But I doubt he will be having as much fun as the one in your house. We need an Elf on the Shelf party!
I just love all of the new things Elf on the Shelf has this year! We will have to get one of those pets now!
I honestly just love Elf on the Shelf. I don’t use him to make the kids be good. I use him to add to the excitement of Christmas and for them to look for what crazy things he is up to every day. I am loving all the new accessories. I need to stock up on more.
What a cute tradition to help kids behave!! My sister loves this time of year because my niece is super good when she knows the Elf on the Shelf is watching!
So darling! Our elf is running low on ideas so this is so helpful. Normally, he brings small gifts and ends up in silly places.
Those are super cute additions to a loved tradition. I don’t blame her for loving the puppy aspect!
Awww, I hadn’t seen this update yet! I have no doubt my kids will freak if I get it!
You have the cutest kids! My little girl would be in love with this.
Love the idea of having a welcome back celebration! Looks like your kids are so excited! Love the name Rainbow, too! 😀
This is too cute an elf on the shelf party. I will confess we never did Elf in the Shelf when I was growing up.
I used to do Elf on the Shelf but these days we’re just too busy! I think it’s a lovely tradition though, especially for the kids! A party like this is so much fun!
The Welcome back party was a blast! Love the pretty cupcakes! The kids writing letters to Santa was sure nice to see. We don’t do the Elf on the Shelf thing because my kids are pretty much grown. I think my sister and her kids have one. I see it on her Instagram feed, where she and her kids take “Elfie Selfies”
We love the Elf on the Shelf kits! This definitely looks like a lot of fun! We have one Elf, but I would love to have another one for our home.
It’s a fun and awesome tradition to have for Christmas! I really think it makes the kids excited for the season! It’s definitely a cook welcome back party!
Love your Elf on the Shelf return! I hadn’t realized the amount of extra crafting ideas that have been included with Elf on the Shelf!
We love to do a Christmas Chart and categorize good behavior and Santa writes a note when he visits Christmas Eve.
Would love to connect on your next post!
