Georgia Aquarium’s Aquanaut Adventure Discovery Zone

Georgia Aquarium 2015

We were invited to check out Georgia Aquarium’s new Aquanaut Adventure: A Discovery Zone. I haven’t been to the Georgia Aquarium since it first opened in 2005. My girls have never been before so they were super excited!

Georgia Aquarium contains more than 10 million gallons of water and is the largest collection of aquatic animals. The mission of Georgia Aquarium is to be a premier scientific institution delivering an awe-inspiring entertainment experience which supports animal research and conservation.

Before we were led to our Aquanaut Adventure tour, we had a private area to watch the tanks and have refreshments. We got to see a group of divers and they waved to us. I think we could’ve stood there for hours! (more…)

[VIDEO] Diving with Whale Sharks | Closed-Circuit Rebreather Dive

If you follow my Instagram stories then you already know that I recently got SCUBA certified so I could dive with the largest fish in the world, the whale shark. Georgia Aquarium is the only place in the western hemisphere where you can see whale sharks. Georgia Aquarium’s Ocean Voyager exhibit contains 6.3 million gallons of water and ranges from 20 to 30 feet deep.

2015 Year In Review…. in Photos!

Here’s a quick recap of my year! It’s amazing how quickly it goes by and how things change!

We took the girls to Atlanta for their first visit to the Georgia Aquarium! Oh yeah, and I officially quit smoking cigarettes. Woot woot!

It’s been two years since we bought our first house! We got hit by some storms and got snowed in for a few days!

Haley turned 4 years old, and I made a rainbow petal cake for her horse themed birthday party. (more…)

Project 52 | Week #4 – Shadows

Welcome to Project 52.

One theme, one photo, once a week. Simple.

It was such a busy week! I had a ladies game night with blogger buddies, I had a date night with my hubby (we played trivia and won!), and we took a trip to the Georgia Aquarium to check out the new Aquanaut Adventure zone. I took soo many pictures!
