Poor little Haley is going to be a tough little girl. Natalie really likes her but is still a little too rough with her.
I have to watch them very closely. Natalie tries to pick her up by herself and recently, Natalie has started running up to Haley and putting things in her mouth!!! Yes, popping them right in!
I can tell Haley is starting to fight back and will turn away when Natalie is in her face. Natalie tries to share her sippy cup with her and will cover her up with blankets — face and all!!
The other day we had to buckle them in the car next to each other — when normally we have a space between them so Natalie can’t reach her.
Natalie couldn’t touch her but when we got out of the car Haley’s car seat was filled with pieces of french fries and chicken nuggets!
At least she was sharing!!
My first two are 17 months apart. My daughter (the oldest) adored my son, but tried to pick him up out of his cradle when he was only weeks old, would climb in his crib with him, tried to feed him foods he couldn’t eat, and once when I was using the bathroom she found a pen and colored all over his face. Poor little boy. But he survived…and yes, he is VERY tough and is really pretty fearless at this point. I think he can thank his older sister for that.
Ha ha! I so know what you are going through. It does get better.
LOL, poor kiddo. ;p Our youngest had to get tough quick too. She’s 20 mos. old now and has to put up with a 3 & 6 yr. old, but she can definitely hold her own. She’s actually sometimes the one pushing the older girls around. hehe
