I’m finally finished decorating! Yay! Where’s the wine?!

We just bought our house earlier this year so this is our first Christmas in OUR home so I was excited about decorating this year!

We have very high ceilings in our new house so I wanted a huge tree.

But then I remembered I also had to decorate it, so we went with 10-ish foot tree from a local Christmas tree farm. It was also our first year visiting the tree farm! You can see lots of pictures here.

Our Christmas tree actually fell over (on top of my husband) three times before we got it into the stand AND THEN when we added water, we realized our stand was cracked and we needed a new one!

Ahhh the joys of decorating.

It’s up and standing securely now in it’s new stand and I think it turned out beautiful! I really love the otomi Christmas tree skirt I got from RedEnvelope! They also have otomi stockings and throw pillows that match!

I decorated our mantle with lots of hand-me-down decorations I had, and I added some fresh candy cane roses from ProFlowers to some square clear glass bowls that I picked up for $1.

I also got this gorgeous Happy Holidays wreath from ProFlowers! It’s real live wreath and it’s made from fresh noble fir along with red berries and eucalyptus!
