I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting (#MC) for Pull-Ups. I received product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item as a thank you for participating.

This mama right here is about to be diaper-free! Yep, cue the confetti and the giant cake!

Well we’re not completely out of the diapers just yet (hold the parade) however I am now officially a Pull-Ups® First Flush Ambassador and I’ll be sharing some posts about our potty training journey with Haley!

Natalie was my difficult child. She’s very strong-willed. It seemed like every time I thought we were done with potty training, there we were back at square one.

I tried many different methods with Natalie. The treat method worked well at first but she was very disappointed when she didn’t go potty and didn’t receive a reward.

Then I tried the timer method, but again, my stubborn little girl would usually drop to the floor and REFUSE to go anywhere near the potty when asked to go. Typically she would rather pee in her Pull Ups than sit on any potty.

So I patiently waited for her to become comfortable with doing it on her own.

Haley was quite the opposite. She’s always been very interested in keeping up with her big sister. She picked potty training up quickly and is very local about having to go. We are using the treat method with her since candy is her favorite thing!

Haley was always my “good” baby. She hardly ever cried, she ate like a champ, she slept through the night when she was 3 months old… why would potty training be any different?!

I’ll be sharing some of my own tips and some new resources from the Big Kid Academy at Pull-Ups.com or on Twitter and Facebook.

But first, check out this video from 2012 where Natalie gets a call from Cinderella. My babies were so tiny!
