My family spent the week before Mother’s Day on St. George Island in Florida with my husband’s mother and aunt. This was our first time visiting St. George. It’s about 400 miles from us.

Natalie had a blast with this kite. This was her first time flying one. Best $1 ever spent!

My husband did a lot of fishing from the beach and from the kayak we rented. He caught two baby sharks and lots of small fish.

St. George Island State Park is on the east end of the island near where we stayed. We got to watch as the Gulf World turtle team release two sea turtles, that had been injured and stranded, back into the ocean.
