Here’s a quick recap of my year! It’s amazing how quickly it goes by and how things change!
JANUARY
We took the girls to Atlanta for their first visit to the Georgia Aquarium! Oh yeah, and I officially quit smoking cigarettes. Woot woot!
FEBRUARY
It’s been two years since we bought our first house! We got hit by some storms and got snowed in for a few days!
MARCH
Haley turned 4 years old, and I made a rainbow petal cake for her horse themed birthday party.
APRIL
I ran my very first Warrior Dash 5K, and my husband surprised me with a brand new car the very same day!
MAY
We took a family vacation to St George Island with my husband’s mom and aunt for Mother’s Day. This was probably one of our favorite vacations of all time. Such a gorgeous place, unlike any other beach!
JUNE
My husband took a business trip to North Carolina, and we spent the week navigating the area using TripAdvisor. Part 1 and Part 2.
JULY
We took a trip with my parents to the Sandpiper Beacon Beach Resort in Panama City Beach, Florida. For me, I will always remember this trip as the “last trip” I got to take with my parents before my dad died.
AUGUST
Both of my kids started school! My youngest started Pre-K and my oldest started Kindergarten.
SEPTEMBER
We started painting our house, and the girls tried cheerleading for the first time.
OCTOBER
Natalie had her first school field trip on her 6th birthday. We also found out she gets motion sick after a ride on the tilt-a-whirl at the annual County Fair.
NOVEMBER
My husband and I took a trip to Washington DC for our 7 year anniversary!
DECEMBER
I got a new Tamron 70-200 mm lens for Christmas! I can’t wait to take some awesome photos in 2016!
