This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Disney Junior. All opinions are 100% mine.
We just got back from Disney World! We are still riding that post-Disney high. We’re trying to recover from all the exciting activities going on at the conference, while preparing for the last few weeks of school! My girls missed two days of school last week to go with us to Florida. I’m so glad that we were able to make it work so my family could experience the conference trip with me.
My youngest daughter is such a brave little thing. She couldn’t wait to get on the rides at Disney World! My oldest is my cautious child. Haley, on the other hand, does everything at full-speed! Even the Tomorrowland Speedway at Disney’s Magic Kingdom. Thank goodness we were attached to the track. I don’t think I’ll ever let her have a driver’s license.
Haley wanted to ride everything at all the parks! Even the stuff she wasn’t tall enough to ride. The Haunted Mansion was one of the ones that everyone wanted to do, except for Natalie. We had watched a few videos on YouTube so she kind of knew what to expect. Haley couldn’t wait to do it. I think part of the time she just wanted to try and scare her older sister.
Even though you raise your kids exactly the same, it’s funny how they turn out completely different. I can already tell how much Haley is going to be like me. Although, she doesn’t get her driving abilities from me. She is still my “MinnieMe.” I will have more vacation pictures and DisneySMMC sneak peeks coming soon. But for now, I wanted to share my #1 tip on saving money at Disney!
#1 TIP:
Buy Disney Memorabilia Before Heading To The Parks! Hide gifts in your suitcase to surprise your kids with when you get there! They can have the same great Disney souvenirs at a fraction of the cost.
Before we left for Disney World, I bought the girls new outfits, new sunglasses, and new shoes. At the time I didn’t think about saving the clothes as a surprise.
» Minnie Mouse Toddler Girl 2-Fer Dress – $9.50
This cute dress would be perfect for a day at the parks! It’s comfortable, lightweight, and convenient for potty breaks.
It’s a good idea to bring your own snacks for the little ones too. I got lucky and didn’t have to carry any bags, not even a camera, room key, or money thanks to my Magic Band!
» Disney Minnie Mouse Bows and Dots Beach Towel – $8.94
It measures 28″ x 58″ and is 100% cotton. These Minnie Mouse towels and other Disney Junior characters are available at Walmart now! Perfect for the field day towel this week at school!
» Disney Minnie Mouse Dots are the New Black Twin/Full Bedding Comforter – $29.88
This reversible microfiber comforter has the signature Minnie Mouse polka-dot design. For the price, I was impressed with the fabric thickness. I haven’t washed it yet, but it feels like it will hold up well. I have paid close to $100 for other “nice” comforters that ended up being cheaply made. Besides the quality, the cuteness factor is always important. My favorite thing about this comforter has to be the bow!
I’m not gonna lie, we were not hardcore Disney fans before this trip to Walt Disney World. After visiting WDW, I finally understand the Disney “magic” excitement! We must own allllll the Disney Junior Minnie Mouse items now!!
Both of my preschool aged nieces are SO into Minnie right now. They just adore her.
It looks like you had a great time. I even like the beach towel and I am over 40… lol
Such cute Minnie stuff. I love the little dress and towel. Sounds like such a fun trip to the Magic Kingdom. The Haunted Mansion is still one of my favorite rides.
I love the new Disney gear! Minnie Mouse is the best! The collection at Walmart must be amazing.
I so love the bedding. My girls grew up loving Disney and of course that means having Disney items around the house too. These are so adorable, from the bedding to the dresses! Minnie Mouse still has her magic when it comes to young girls!
Great idea! I know my daughter bought a stuffed cat at Disney and paid a fortune. It was ruined in the dryer and she replaced it with almost the exact same one at home for a fraction of the cost. Thoughtful yet frugal…great way to be 🙂
I love the bedding! My granddaughter already has a Minnie Mouse dress, so to complete her Disney experience, a bedspread would be perfect!
Always love Minnie! I’ve never really moved on from Disney characters and seeing these new things with her is such a delight.
I love that beach towel. Who knew that they sold such cute Disney stuff at Walmart!
Awesome Memorabilia. If I had a daughter I would definitely also bring her to Disney World and buy her some (maybe all) of the Minnie mouse stuff. Nice post.
We cannot wait to visit Disney again.
Walmart now has some really beautiful Disney stuff.
Those are great! Would it be weird if I got a Minnie blanket for my bed? It wouldn’t be weird, right?
Looks like you had so much fun. Yes, kids turn out different even if you raised them exactly the same.
Those are such cute products. We’re huge Disney lovers in this family! I love the outfit. That’s something my girls love wearing too.
My 3 year loves Mickey Mouse… So many fun things.
What lovely photos! And I wish that we connected at the conference in person. My daughter would be all over these fun minnie mouse items. What a fun way to infuse magic at home. 🙂
I love that Disney character clothing is available at Walmart! So many kids love Disney but can’t get to Disneyland!
It sounds like you haw a wonderful time. My family loves Disney, too. Those are super cute items.
This is so awesome, I think my niece would love some of these clothing options for sure!
What adorable outfits and accessories for a Disney or anywhere trip. We need to get back to the Magic Kingdom sometime this year or next. Your pictures are a great reminder of how much fun is waiting to happen.
So adorable! My girls love minnie mouse! Such great ideas for disney my girls love all things disney and girly so they’d enjoy all this!
My girls are in love with Minnie. Their eyes will grow big when they see this stuff.
This is so great, she’s really in love with minnie mouse same to my niece
Look at all the cute Minnie items!! I have four kids, three are daredevils and one was very cautious. The cautious one now will do anything, and sometimes I wish he’d go back to being more careful. 😉
Those are some cute Disney items. I have a boy so we didn’t get too Disneyed up. There were some toys of course tied to movies but that’s about it.
