Mother’s Day was our last day at Walt Disney World! If you haven’t already, check out Day #1 – Animal Kingdom, Day #2 – Hollywood Studios, Day #3 – Magic Kingdom of my Disney Diary before continuing on!
We had a huge brunch set up for us at Epcot, complete with Mickey Mouse waffles and live music. Huggies put together a super sweet Mother’s Day video made by all of our kids.
You can see my girls towards the end at the 6:21 mark. The girls were excited to see themselves on the big televisions.
After breakfast, we headed back to our room to pack up our things. I would’ve loved to stay a few hours longer, but we decided to begin driving back. It’s an 8 hour trip and everyone had to be back at work and school the very next day.
I’m so happy and grateful that we were able to go to Disney World for the 2016 Social Media Moms Celebration. My husband and I had talked about taking the girls when they got older, but I never expected to take them this year!
If you have little kids, DON’T WAIT to visit! I thought we should wait until they were older so they could fully experience every thing. I was wrong. Take them now, while they still believe in the Disney Magic! The girls still believe the magic pixie dust, sprinkled on by a cast member, closed our safety bar on the Peter Pan ride!
Most of the rides are designed for families to ride together, no matter how old you are. There is so much to do and see there. I guarantee you won’t be able to do everything on your first visit, so go now, and then come back again later!
Here’s my must-do list for our next visit: Tower of Terror | Epcot | Kali River Rapids | Dole Whip | Rivers of Light | Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster | Mission: SPACE | Space Mountain | Soarin’ | Frozen Ever After
As part of this event, I received complimentary items, discounted rates, special behind-the-scenes access, and other exciting benefits, such as food and entertainment.
