Give Bakery Because
It’s Gifting Made Delicious.
I’ve teamed up with Rich Products to encourage people to visit the bakery department of their local grocery store to find easy and delicious treats that you can personalize and give as gifts on Mother’s Day and every day.
Mother’s Day is coming up on Sunday, May 10th. This year, I’ll be spending Mother’s Day on the beach in Florida! In fact, this will be my first Mother’s Day on vacation! My family and I are going to St. George Island for a week with my mother-in-law and aunt.
I found this creative box idea, perfect gift box if you are out of gift bags, or just looking for a unique way to give a gift.
I love this simple gift box because there’s no template to download and no measuring required. It’s easy, I promise.
You can quickly and easily make this gift box for any occasion out of 12 x 12 cardstock. Something I seem to have an endless supply of.
Supplies:
- 12 x 12 Cardstock (2 sheets per box)
- Twine (about 2 yards per box)
- Bakery Treats
Step 1:
You will need two sheets of thick, square cardstock for one box. I picked up this brown cardstock with velvety white polka dots at Joann’s. Using this awesome origami tutorial, fold your first box. This will be the lid.
Step 2:
Your second sheet of cardstock needs to be a little smaller than the first, so the two boxes will fit together. Trim two sides of the 12 x 12 cardstock by 1/8 inch (about the width of two quarters) so that the cardstock is slightly smaller, but still square.
Step 3:
Repeat the steps from the origami tutorial, and you now have a box!
Step 4:
I had 4 yards of pink and white twine. I used 2 yards per box but you could use more or less.
Step 5:
Visit your local bakery department and fill the box with something your mom will love.
These soft chocolate chip cookies are probably the most delicious cookies I’ve ever had. I’ll have to get some fresh ones for my mother (because I’ve already eaten all these).

Tips:
- Make sure your paper is perfectly square.
- You can use any size paper, as long as it’s square.
- The heavier the paper you use, the sturdier the box will be.
- Begin folding your paper with the pattern side face down.
If you make a gift box, please let me know by adding the hashtag #givebakery and pin it to Pinterest!

My mom has been battling cancer and the side effects of surgeries since November. I’m so proud of her and her strength through everything!
My mom is a very strong, independent woman. She is the reason I am the strong, independent woman that I am today. She is one of my best friends and I absolutely love her to pieces. I’m really not sure what I would do without her. She helps me fix things on my car, at my house, etc.
I celebrated my friend who works so hard as a Mom and very seldom gets time to spend on herself.
I was adopted and growing up I always heard from my friends wow I wish my mom was more like your mom. My mom wanted children so badly that I often wonder if that made her a better mom then some. I was completely blessed to get the mom I did couldn’t of been a better fit.
I am celebrating my special mother, and she is always there for me. She talks to me always, and we have many good times. I don’t know what I’d do without her! A story about her is that she helps me and my brother with our future, she always wants the best for me too! I wouldn’t have a different Mom for anything. Thanks for the chance to win!:)
My Mom (in memory). She was a great lady who was always positive even when times were tough. Miss her and the fond memories will never fade.

Through the years my grandmother would always tell me something that has stuck with me for 31 years. She would tell me, “I love you for you”! I love you for you the good bad and the ugly!
we are celebrating my mom. She hasn’t had an easy life but always made her kids the priority.
My mom put her career on hold for 15 years to stay home with my brother and I during most of our years as kids. She cooked awesome meals, taught us important life skills, and gave us a great start to life!

My mom is my inspiration every day!
My mother passed away seventeen years ago but I celebrate her life (her essence) everyday. Her actions and advices carry me through my years as a mother to five kids of my own. I reminds my kids daily of the sacrifices that she had made for my siblings and I. Coming to a new country (as war refuge) at thirty something without any knowledge of its culture or language, my parent especially my mother was the cornerstone of our family. God bless her!
well me and my mom aren’t the closest but I love her and we always spend mothers day together. I hope me and my daughter are closer then me and my mom …
thanks!
I celebrated my mom this year. We have a really close relationship, which I have noticed a lot of my friends don’t have with their moms.
I celebrated my Mom. She is just an amazing Mom , always there for us and so patient.
Oh I shared it with my momma! We work together in business and we spent mothers day together just relaxing. So nice!
I celebrated my mother this Mother’s Day. She has always been there for me and supported me even when I didn’t deserve it.
My Mother just celebrated her 81st birthday, and she is still able-bodied. she is always helping her children, always quick to say yes.
My Mom has been there for me through polio as a child, marriage, kids, the countless surgeries, she always buys my a baby doll when I have surgery even now so I can have a baby with me, so sweet
I am celebrating my Mom on Mothers Day. She is the greatest woman I know. I hope my daughter thinks I am as great a Mom as she is.
My mom is my support system. I recently foundout that my unborn child might have a heart condition and my has been with me through this every step of the way.
My mom, my only aunt, and my grandmothers, all passed away many years ago. Both my sisters are mothers but they each only have one child. I would choose my middle sister who’s daughter has two children, as the mother I honored this past Mother’s Day. My sister is divorced and raised her daughter by herself. When this daughter became pregnant, she let her daughter move into their old house, instead of selling it,, so my niece would have a home for her own family. My sister works full time and still makes time to help her daughter out with the kids. My sister also came to my town, the week of Mother’s Day, to take me to a doctor’s appointment when I would need a driver to take me home. We don’t live in the same town, so this was very helpful of her, as she had to take a day off of work to help me. 😉
Everything about her makes her marvelous to me. Happy Belated Mother’s Day
My mom has always been so special and supportive of us kids. She retired about 5 years ago, and she has now put in over 5000 hours at our hospital volunteering. She also volunteers at our church. For Mothers day we all went to my mom and dads…and grilled. Was so fun to have all the kids, grandkids, and great grandkids play together!
I celebrated this Mother’s Day with my sister who is an amazing mom. She is a single parent, goes to school and works two jobs. She is simply awesome and my and her daughters hero!
