Having children made me an over paranoid worry wart. Every outlet and small toy is a death trap.
Having children made me very unfashionable. Not that I was super stylish before, but now I have an excuse not to put on makeup or fix my hair.
Having children made me not such a clean freak. Before my daughter was born I couldn’t stand being dirty or sticky. Instantly after she was born, I could be covered in snot and spit up for hours and it never phase me.
Having children made me fall in love with my husband all over again. I love seeing him hug her and play with her. You can tell he loves her so much.
Having children made me realize the important things in life. Spending time with my daughter and being there for my family is more important than anything else.
Having children made me learn to laugh at the small things. Pick your battles. Not everything is worth getting upset over.
I love your post!!
You say it all – some days are hard – when everyone is sick and you have to clean it all and take care of them – and then you get it! But to see how happy they are after they are feeling good -pricelist!! And my hubby came home and watched the kids for me the whole day! He is a wonderful hubby and father!!
Ditto on not being phased by spit up!
Having children made me realize everything I thought I knew about parenting before just really isn’t the same until you have your own
Having children made me realize I’m semi-crunchy
These are the reasons I want to have children! Thanks for putting it so well.
I adore this post. I could have written this word for word. You hit it right on the nail.
