Affresh

A few weeks ago I posted about my experience with affresh™ dishwasher and disposable cleaner. I really never thought about needing to clean out my dishwasher. It seems like running soap and water through it daily should keep it clean!  And to the naked eye, it appeared clean, until I actually cleaned it!

If you do not clean your dishwasher, food particles can build up and cause stinky odors and can even leave residue on your clean dishes! Affresh dishwasher and disposable cleaner is the only two-in-one tablet safe for your septic and plumbing and is designed to eliminate odors.

Now every time I open my freshly used dishwasher, I am greeted by a fresh, clean scent. Yes, still…after 2 weeks! And I only used one tablet instead of the recommended two tablets!

I decided to test it out on my mom’s dishwasher too! Although I didn’t notice a smell, you can clearly see a residue build up!

And after using the affresh™ cleaner…

It’s not perfect, but obviously a significant and cleaner result! This was also without any hand washing or scrubbing.

Affresh VS Bleach

Although some products, like bleach, help reduce odors, affresh™ cleaners are safer and more efficient. Do NOT use affresh™ cleaners and bleach together as this may reduce the overall cleaning performance and could potentially create deadly fumes.

Buy It

To ensure maximum performance, Whirlpool recommends a monthly use or as needed for a cleaner, fresher dishwasher and disposal. One package ($5.99 MSRP) should last anywhere from 2-6 months.

Available at many retailers such as Sears, Home Depot, Lowe’s, hhgregg, Best Buy, Kroger, and many other local and online retailers including http://www.affresh.com.

I wrote this review while participating in a campaign by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of affresh and received product samples and a promotional item to thank me for taking the time to participate.
