If this is your first time here, SOOC Saturday is a weekly meme where people link up and share their photos Straight Out Of the Camera (SOOC). Whether you are a professional photographer, an amateur photographer, or just someone who likes taking pictures, I encourage you to link up! This is a super simple weekend meme that doesn’t take up much time!
I tried photographing some pictures of the moon with my new lens. Which was a total failure! It was freezing and I was shaking so bad. So I got my tripod but I was in a hurry and couldn’t get my settings right… The moon is a difficult subject to capture. Here’s my best shot… if that’s what you want to call it….
REMINDER:
If you link up on the linky list this week (or next week) you get 25 EXTRA ENTRIES in the Sun Sniper Compact Camera Strap Giveaway {$57 Value}. Just read the SOOC Saturday Rules for all the details on how to link up! {And remember what number you are on the linky list, you’ll need that info to enter the giveaway!}
NOTE: Add your link to the list and then please visit and leave a relevant comment on at least ONE other blog on the linky list. (Preferably the person that linked up right before you.)

shooting the moon is much easier with a rifle than a camera. nice shot though.
I dunno that looks a little creepy to me. You got a new planet creeping in there? Weird! lol Have a great weekend. I’ve been tweeting SOOC Saturday too all week long. woo hoo!
I’m new at this blogging stuff, but my friends are trying to help me. Hope you like mine. Now all I have to do is hop around, and see everyone on the list right? Your picture is that a double exposure? Don’t know much about camera’s either. Sorry! Have a great weekend. I’m really starting to like this bloghopping stuff. Thanks for sharing.
Amy, I could not agree more about the moon! It is such a difficult subject to photograph. I had to throw out all the things I know about manual to get the definition I wanted. I would love to see your next attempt you talked about on my blog :o). I also wanted to share this tutorial which is similar to the one that helped me the first time I tried a moon shot…http://mansurovs.com/how-to-photograph-moon.
Thank you for sharing and for hosting this link up!
thanks for the link – I might have to try now. 😀
