My 2 year old daughter is an Elmo lover right now! I don’t know what it is about Elmo but I’ve never seen a kid that didn’t like Elmo!
My littlest ones FIRST birthday is this Sunday! I can’t believe it’s been a whole year! We are doing an Elmo/Cookie Monster theme. I’m going to let Natalie wear her Elmo costume during the party!
I got the 2T size thinking it would be too big, but it actually fit pretty good. So if you’re in between sizes, I’d go up a size instead of down.
The back is held together with just a few velcro circles. A zipper would be nice but the velcro does the job.
The head piece fits pretty good although she won’t leave it on for very long. There is only a small piece of velcro holding it on which nice so she doesn’t choke herself but it’s sometimes hard to keep it fastened.
The jumpsuit is made out of polyester and isn’t very thick so it can be worn comfortably year-round, or you could put a layer underneath without it showing through if needed.
I’ve noticed quite a few red fuzzy balls stuck to the furniture and floor so would be careful washing this costume. I would wash it separately in cold water and hang it to dry.
