I cannot begin to tell you how much I love my new bag! I constantly receive comments about how cute it is and of course I must show off all marvelous the features!
I originally planned to use this diaper bag as an extra diaper bag. One I could use on outings where I didn’t need a ton of items with me. BUT I was quite surprised and impressed at the available space in this diaper bag.
Previously I researched and bought what I believed to be a durable diaper bag. Unfortunately within two weeks it was literally falling apart. I guess you get what you pay for!
Surprisingly, even though my old diaper bag seemed larger, I was able to fit everything I needed in this bag along with some organization; a luxury I didn’t have before.
I now have a place to hold TWO sippy cups, which I love. The pockets are also insulated which helps keep the drinks cold for up to three hours! Needless to say, I trashed my old bag and will be using my new designer baby bag from now on!
What’s in my bag:
- 10 diapers
- Wipes
- 2 sippy cups
- 3 outfits
- Padded changing mat
- Zip wet bag
- Sunscreen
- Neosporin
Plus I still have room for a few toys on top!! AND can still close the bag!!
My one and only concern with this bag is the insulated pockets. They are designed to hold baby bottles in place so the nylon is stretched pretty tight which over time could rip or tear.
The bag is spot clean only due to the delicate hand embroidery and appliqué. The inside lining is made of 100% nylon while the outer fabric is made from cotton/nylon coated with EVA. EVA is short for Ethylene-vinyl acetate. It was used on the 2010 World Cup football. Non-Toxic EVA coated cotton is breathable, water-resistant, and virtually stain proof against dyes and bleaches.
I would like to note how completely blown away I was by this diaper bag. I foolishly assumed all diaper bags were the same. I now believe you can buy cheap diaper bag and replace it every few months or go ahead and spend the money on a nice quality bag. I assure you you’ll be much more satisfied with a durable diaper bag.
