Saturday, I got to take the girls bowling for their first time ever! I haven’t been bowling in such a long time. It was a blast!
My husband unfortunately had to work so I was solo with just my two babies.
We were invited to try out a brand new Stars and Strikes location in Sandy Springs. We started the day with yummy snacks and a round of bowling.
I was thinking a 3 and 4 year old might be too young for bowling but they didn’t have any trouble at all.
They had adorable little bowling shoes for them to wear and a metal bowling ramp contraption so they could easily roll the bowling balls.
Natalie was very serious about lining up her ramp just right so she could knock all the pins down.
And it worked! She beat both me and Haley by a good 30 points.
After a round of bowling, we hit the arcade! Again, something new to both of them. I hardly ever never let them run wild spending money on arcade games.
Before we left, we got to play laser tag! It was so much fun! The Sandy Springs location has a two-story course complete with fog and cosmic lighting.
I ended up taking Haley’s laser tag vest off because it was just too big and she was getting really tired and whiny by then. I was easy prey since I was shooting left-handed and I held Haley the entire time.
People kept saying they were “aiming for the lady with the kid” because I was an easy target, lol.
I wish I had some pictures of Haley wearing the vest. She’s tiny anyways so it swallowed her whole. Natalie was also pretty young for the laser tag . She was scared at first by the fog and loud music but she quickly started to enjoy herself.
Haley was also happy by the end. She really started to have fun after she stopped being a whiny butt.
I can’t wait to go back, and take my hubby this time!
If you’re looking for something fun to do with the whole family I definitely recommend checking out Stars and Strikes Family Entertainment Center. They have multiple locations across the Atlanta area.
