I’ve been dying for some Strawberry Shortcake! I almost did a Strawberry Shortcake birthday party for my youngest in March. I thought these Mini Strawberry Shortcake Shooters would be perfect for a party!
For parties, I always prefer finger food. Something delicious but no plates required!
They are small enough to be an individual serving but big enough to satisfy! Plus they’re sooo easy and quick to make, which is important when you’re planning a party!
Ingredients:
- Sara Lee Pound Cake
- Strawberries
- Whipped Cream
- Sugar
- Small containers
How To:
First you’ll need to prep your strawberries. Cut them into small slices and add sugar to release the juices! Set aside.
Sara Lee pound is pre-made and can be found in the freezer section. Just cut a few thin slices and heat them in the microwave for a few seconds!
Once you’ve heated your slices, cut the pound cake into cubes.
Then you just need to add your layers! I did pound cake, whipped cream, strawberries, whipped cream, and a strawberry topper.
Serve with small disposable spoons.
I picked up my glass containers from my local grocery store. They are a little larger than a shot glass. You could also you plastic disposable containers.

Can you make these the day before you need them….I was concerned about the whipped cream…thanks and they look yummy.
Hello, I was wondering if you can make these ahead, if the whip cream would melt. even if I refrigerate them?
