Give Bakery Because. It’s Gifting Made Delicious.
I’ve teamed up with Rich Products to encourage people to visit their local grocer’s bakery to find easy and delicious treats that they can personalize and give as gifts “just because” or on any gifting occasion. I filled a basket full of these treats for my neighbor, but I think these would also make a fabulous teacher’s gift.
Supplies:
- Small Treats from your local store
- Red & Green Cardstock
- Wax Paper
- Super Glue
- Silhouette CAMEO
You need a curvy box template for this project. I cut my apples from this 3D Pumpkin Petal Box template (Design ID #66919) so you could always cut them into pumpkins for Halloween treat boxes too.
Cut the stems separately with green cardstock and then super glue the stems to the red cardstock.
I cut them large about 8 x 8, but you could cut them 6 x 6 and get two apples out of one 12 x 12 sheet of cardstock.
Fill the boxes with small treats from your local store such as mini muffins, cinnamon rolls, cookies or donuts.
Before you add the treats, you will need to cover the bottom (and possibly the sides) with wax paper or something similar to prevent oily spots on your cardstock. There is no need to glue the box closed. It will stay in place once it’s closed.
You could gift them in a paper bag basket or use them as individual party favors.

This project is hard to achieve without a cutting machine like the Silhouette CAMEO or Portrait. If you do not have a Silhouette cutting machine, Silhouette America is currently having a bundle sale on the Silhouette Portrait.

All three of my daughters are deserving of something special. My oldest is expecting a baby the first week of November; my middle daughter is a disabled Veteran; and my youngest daughter is a sophomore in college. They all do special things for many people. In fact, last week when my youngest daughter was home, she made homemade sugar cookies to deliver to people who have influenced her life (which I thought was pretty thoughtful)
