You probably already heard that we just bought a new house! But before I get caught up into moving, I wanted to share some photos from our trip! We just got back from a Disney land and sea adventure. We spent half of our trip at Disney World and then headed to the Bahamas on a Disney Cruise!

DAY 1 – Red Roof PLUS+

We drove from Atlanta and stopped just two hours away from Disney World in Gainesville, FL at the Red Roof PLUS+. We spent the night in one of their Premium Rooms and then drove straight to Disney World the next morning.

Premium rooms at Red Roof PLUS+ include a complimentary snack box with bottled water, chips, raisins, trail mix, breakfast cookies and other amenities like a microwave, mini fridge, in-room coffee, hair dryer, and upgraded towels. The premium rooms even have high-end bedding topped with soft, supportive pillows and are definitely worth the small extra cost.

Complimentary Snack Box

My girls liked the snack box the most. They couldn’t wait to tear into it. It was also a good distraction for them while I was getting ready and packing up the bags. It’s right off the main highway, an ideal place to stop and rest so you can hit the parks bright and early the next day!

DAY 2 – Magic Kingdom

We arrived at the Magic Kingdom around 11 A.M. after parking our car and taking the monorail train to the park.

We stayed at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort which is close to Disney’s Animal Kingdom. I prefer to stay on Disney property since they have transportation provided for you, and you get to use your cool MagicBands as your room key!

Disney's Coronado Springs Resort 2018

The weather was perfect and we immediately jumped on some rides. We had lunch at Tony’s Town Square restaurant and had the Chicken Parmigiana and the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo. Reservations fill up very fast so book those early.

It’s better to have a reserved table with a good selection of food, than trying to find a quick service restaurant with burgers and hot dogs, when you’re already starving. The Gelato Sundae with Mickey Mouse sprinkles at Tony’s Town Square was divine!

Tony's Town Square Ice Cream

We rode Space Mountain for the very first time! Last time at Magic Kingdom the girls weren’t tall enough so it was a ‘must do’ on our list this time.

Cinderella Castle

That evening we had the Welcome Family Dinner with all the other Disney Social Media Mom attendees. The next morning started bright and early at the Animal Kingdom. We had access to Pandora – The World of Avatar before the park even opened! See our Pandora experience here! And check out my Instagram for a video inside one of the Pandora rides!

Haley and Sofia the First

In exchange for my time and efforts reporting my opinion, my family and I were provided complimentary accommodations by Red Roof PLUS+. As part of the Disney Social Media Moms event, I received complimentary items, discounted rates, special access, and other exciting benefits, such as food and entertainment from Disney Parks.
