Today is my husband’s 32nd birthday! We had tickets to see Marvel Universe LIVE! at Philips Arena in Atlanta. After the show, we went to The Cheesecake Factory for some birthday lunch.
We were a few minutes late getting there (because I’m never on time), but the show was just getting started, so we didn’t miss much. Get there early so you can get settled, and leave yourself some extra time for the Atlanta traffic nightmare. The show lasts about 2 hours with a quick intermission halfway through.
I expected to see more motorcycle stunts and less fake fighting, but I’m also glad there weren’t motorcycles running the entire time. When we went to see the Nuclear Cowboyz, there were lots of fireworks going off with the motorcycle stunts and it was very loud and smoky.
The Marvel Universe show wasn’t like that at all. Definitely a family-friendly show, unless you have an issue with all the fighting.
The girls loved Captain America and the Hulk. And of course Spider-man, but they call him Spider-Ma’am.
Feld Entertainment will bring Marvel Universe LIVE! to Philips Arena – December 20-22 and The Arena at Gwinnett Center – December 26-28! I am hoping this comes to Boston because my boys would LOVE this show. It sounds so cool.
That is spectacular. Wish they were close to us.
I cannot wait until this event gets here next year. I’m already itching to go!
I want to go this show but I missed it at Phillips Arena. I hope I find discount tickets for Gwinett next week. I’m still kind of the fence for $200 though.
This looks like the coolest show! I bet all of the stunts are awesome.
My son would love this. He’s as into Marvel as my daughter is to princesses.
