My husband took a few days off for Spring Break this year. Originally, when he took off work, we had planned to go camping.

But I didn’t do any planning in advance and while discussing campground options, we decided a cabin in North Georgia would give us the same fun experience, plus a warm bed… and a hot tub!

Yes, the husband agrees as long as he can fish! We booked a cabin in Blue Ridge, GA. It’s a short, relaxing drive only 1-2 hours from us.

The girls had fun playing ball and fishing with their daddy. Haley caught the first fish right after we arrived.

The water in the creek was freezing, but the weather was gorgeous, and we had an awesome fire pit for making s’mores!

We decided to take the long way home and drive a little further to the north to see Lookout Mountain. Tuesday morning, right after we checked out, we drove straight towards Tennessee to see Rock City, Ruby Falls, and ride the Incline Railway straight up the mountain! See those photos HERE!
