I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting (#MC) for Pull-Ups. I received product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item as a thank you for participating.
Potty training with both my girls has been two steps forward and one step back. My oldest is completely potty trained, daytime and nighttime. Haley, my youngest who turned 3 in March, is sooo close. I know consistency is key during the potty training journey but we just took our very first family vacation to Savannah and she wore Pull-Ups pretty much the entire time.
I knew she would never stay dry for the entire 5 hour drive and honestly I didn’t want to deal with the hassle of stopping at every other gas station for a potty break.
Haley likes to pee in her pants and then tell me she needs to go. She still likes being a baby and doesn’t have the drive to be potty trained like Natalie did. However she does like having her own special potty.
Pull-Ups recently announced an exiting new partnership with The First Years, a maker of potty training systems and seats. The First Years offers a range of different potty training systems and seats, even some decorated with Disney characters to help make potty training as fun as possible! Right now with the purchase of a specialty potty system from The First Years you will also receive a free sample pack of Pull-Ups Training Pants to tackle the potty training journey!
Even though Haley isn’t quite as independent as Natalie was, I’m confident she’ll get it eventually. Since vacation is over and we’re back to the real world, I think we need to kick start our potty training journey (again) with a Potty Training Celebration Chart or the customizable Rewards Wheel on Pull-Ups.com!
Pull-Ups.com has a lot of great activities for encouraging little ones as well as resources for parents like the Big Kid App available on Apple and Android smart phones. The Big Kid Timer from the Pull-Ups site reminds me to ask her to go and really helps maintain a potty training schedule.
Find more tools and resources from the Big Kid Academy at Pull-Ups.com or on Twitter and Facebook.
Let me start by saying that I do not miss potty training one bit, but when I was training my boys, Pull Ups were the best thing ever! It was all I used and I swore by them!
Pull ups were so much easier to use once my boys were more mobile. We used them more for the convenience than the training part.
Pull Ups are so nice to use for potty training! We used them with our girls when they were young.
I don’t have kids yet but I always hear such good things about Pull Ups!
You’re better than me! Red is 3 weeks from being three, and he’s got the brakes full on. Could care LESS about any of it! We’re in pull ups, too.
We’re in the middle of potty training. It’s been….not the most fun time. I’ll be glad when we make it to the other side of potty training.
We loved the transition from diapers to Pullups. They made my life so much easier!!
Pull ups have helped so much in the potty training process. My daughter does great during the day but sometimes at night she has her accidents. Pull ups keep her dry and comfy!
I remember the days of potty training. they were fun. lol. we used Pullups too
When my son was potty training, we only used Pull-Ups. They are the only brand we’d use – they’re the best!
We are in the early (very early) stages of potty training with our little one. I didn’t use pull-ups too much with my older child, but we will see with my toddler. All children are different!
It’s almost potty training time in my house! Thanks for the tips.
Pulls Ups were a big part of potty training for both my son & daughter. They were life savers at times too!
Started stocking up for potty train #2! Let’s hope pull-ups make it smoother 🙂
My little man was a Pull Ups baby and I couldn’t have been happier with the ease and leak proof features in the same
Awe, love the Rapunzel pull ups! I wish they had that version when we were potty trainings. My daughter would have loved it.
Pull-Ups are great. They worked well for my granddaughter. My grandson will be using them soon.
Pull-ups are so awesome. In about a year and a half, I’ll be using them times 2!
Pull ups were awesome for my kids. They were like big kids underwear, but convenient for accidents.
The spin the wheel activity that they have on their site is one of my favorites. And my daughter loves that her favorite Disney characters are on the pants.
I was so glad when they invented pull ups. Ugh that makes potty training so much simpler.
A stretchy waste band is really important. I remember when my daughter was potty training and they didn’t always stretch enough. It can make getting to the potty in time a challenge.
We loved pull-ups when mine were potty training. I think it’s the only brand we used.
i don’t miss this stage of life one bit. glad there are so many fun options though
PullUps were a lifesaver here during potty training time. I used them with both of my boys.
