I was invited to the Gerber 3rd Foods® Lil Bits™ event hosted by Stacie here in Atlanta. This is a sponsored post written by me on their behalf.
Gerber is launching 10 new Lil Bits™ recipes specially made for crawlers. They were created to help teach babies how to chew by adding the right sized, soft pieces of fruit or veggies to each variety.
Chewing is an essential milestone in a baby’s development. Gerber’s new Lil Bits™ recipes help babies learn to mash and chew their food, and offer a gradual progression from baby food to table food.
Over 80 taste tests were held with 700+ samples to ensure that Lil Bits™ recipes had a baby-approved taste. Gerber baby food must live up to over 100 quality checks because Gerber has always believed that little ones deserve high standards.
Gerber is the ONLY baby food company in the country which uses a special cooking method that gives Lil Bits™ recipes the right texture and perfectly sized soft bits to help babies master chewing. 80 experts spent over 120,000 hours on product development.
Lil Bits™ recipes come in 7 fruits and 3 veggies. Fruits are: Apple Blueberry, Orchard Fruit Medley, Apple Banana, Banana Apple Strawberry, Pear Apple Berry, Island Fruit Blend and Banana Apple Mango. Veggies are: Mixed Carrots, Corn & Butternut Squash, Butternut Squash & Potato, Sweet Potato Apple Carrots & Cinnamon.
Gerber is filling a gap in early childhood nutrition with Lil Bits™ recipes – a new and exciting category changing innovation. As older babies develop side to side movement of their tongue they can begin to move small, soft pieces of food to their jawline for mashing, the early skills of chewing.

Look at all that cuteness! Gerber is such a wonderful company which does so much for babies, new parents, old parents, and even kids savings programs!
How cool. Baby food has come such a long way since my kids were eating it. I love that they are making the transition from purees to soft chunks so much easier.
This is pretty amazing. Back in the day when my kids were little, it was puree and strait to real food. I love this idea.
They’re always thinking up new ways to make the transition to solid foods easy on moms and kids. I absolutely love these.
Oh my goodness, look at all the chubby ADORABLE babies!!! How fun!
So, no joke, this are pretty yummy. When I had my wisdom teeth out, I bought some for a change from mashed potatoes and jello, and these are PERFECT little snacks for adults too!
Just look at all of those squishy babies! I used quite a bit of Gerber products with my kids and always appreciate a brand I can trust.
What a great event to attend. Gerber is a wonderful brand.
All the babies. So adorable. What a neat event.
Oh my goodness! Shut the front door those babies are precious! My babies ate Gerber food and it looks like their products have just gotten better.
I think this so cute. I love the shirts as well. My son is going to be 5 and I bought the banana and apple ones for his school lunch for a pudding like thing.
My youngest was the only one who got to enjoy those. They were a huge hit! You know when babies think they’re big, but not really old enough for big kid food? The Lil Bits were perfect for that stage.
Oh how cute are these photos. I can’t say I’ve ever used any of these I always did BLW so my kiddos ate what we did from the get go but these look great!
Looks like a fun event to attend. Quite amazing the progress that baby food and Gerber have made over the years.
I have always heard nothing but great things about Gerbers. I also like that they offer so many different flavors!
Is that your baby in the very first photo? Great shot! I don’t have kids but I know my friends with kids are all Gerber brand loyal that’s for sure!
Nope, actually none of the babies pictured are mine! I was getting my baby fix! 😉
It can be so difficult to know what to feed your kids when they’re developing their motor skills and as they transition to solid food! I’m glad some companies are helping to close that gap!
what sweet baby faces!!! I’m so out of the loop with baby food, my youngest just turned 8 and can down a double cheeseburger in one sitting.
Oh my goodness, those babies are all too cute! Gerber is a great brand that my daughter loved when she was little.
I had no idea about Lil Bits! My little man is pretty accomplished in his chewing, but this would have been so helpful!
I love this. They have so many new things since my baby was a baby.
