I’m officially done with my back to school shopping! My youngest is starting Pre-K and my oldest is starting Kindergarten. So this will be the first year I’ve had both girls not at home with me during the day. Woot woot, party! Just kidding. Kinda. They are both really excited to start school. We went shopping at Target to get all their school supplies, new backpacks, matching lunchboxes, and some new shoes!

Stride Rite was founded in 1919, their shoes aren’t just styled, they’re designed to be up to the task of being worn by kids – and easy on parents.
The Surprise line of shoes is made for young children, ages 6 months to 5 years. The shoes at my Target store went up to a size 12. Depending on the style, prices range from $20 – $25.
Target had three different styles of Surprize for girls to choose from. I’m unsure about the Surprize for boys. Haley loves these silver shoes with pink rubber bottoms, but she also liked the pink and purple striped shoes. Both are perfect for school outfits and comfortable to play in.
Surprize is guaranteed to provide the following:
- Comfort: These shoes have a generous fit and all memory foam footbeds, ensuring great comfort for your kids
- Fit: The shoes have very flexible outsoles allowing for an agile, natural step and growth
- Durability: The rubber toes ensure durability
Natalie chose these dark brown shoes that are dressy but still comfortable. Plus purple is her favorite color so it works well with any of her outfits.

Oh I so wish these were at target five years ago… when our girls were smaller. We drove quite a ways to a Stride Rite store. Love that brand. Target is much closer and our go to store for so many things.

These are super cute and look really comfy. Target is no longer where I live but there’s one over the border about 2 hours away. Makes for great back to school shopping.
Suprize from Stride Rite is a really cute shoe! The sole looks like it is going to absorb the impact as the kids jump and run around the playground. Dropping in to see what’s new at Target is always fun and I know your kidlets enjoyed it more when they saw these great shoes.
