After visiting the Magic Kingdom and experiencing Pandora for the very first time, we drove straight from Disney World to Port Canaveral to board the Disney Dream Cruise Ship.
This was our first Disney Cruise. We sailed to Nassau, Bahamas and Castaway Cay, Disney’s private island reserved exclusively for Disney Cruise Line guests.
Our verandah stateroom was spacious and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Every night they leave a different towel sea animal and chocolates on the bed.
The girls bunk beds drop down from the ceiling over the couch. They are opened up each night and put away during the day to save space.
We all rode the AquaDuck, a waterslide that takes you down, around and off the side of the ship. The girls really enjoyed the pools and waterslides on the ship, but snorkeling at Castaway Cay was the best!
I have been on other cruises, but we have never decorated our door. Since we were cruising with Disney, we decided to decorate our door and participate in the Fish Extender gift exchange.

Mickey Mouse Door Magnet
HOW TO:
- I printed each piece on cardstock and used contact paper to ‘laminate’ them, and then placed self adhesive magnets on the back to stick on the door.
- Each piece needs to be printed separately so it is large enough for your stateroom door.
- You can print these on magnetic paper, or you can print them on cardstock and laminate them.
- Use magnets only, Disney does not allow any kind of adhesives or stickers on their doors.
- I added a 7.5 inch diameter circle for reference when you print the ears. This is the diameter of the stateroom door number/porthole for all Disney ships.
If you are preparing for a Disney Cruise, don’t forget your pirate gear for Pirate Night. The deck party is fun and the fireworks are amazing!
That is super cute! I need to do this the next time we head out on a Disney cruise. I love this so much!
We absolutely LOVE cruising with Disney. We have a placeholder right now and I’m itching to book another cruise! Thanks for the cute magnet printable!
Thanks for the printable! WOW that ship is HUGEEEEE!! It looks like you all had the time of your lives! The gift exchange thing is so cool! I did not know this happened!
Completely and totally jelly right now! This is my dream lol to go on the Disney Dream Cruise one day!
I’ve been on a cruise (not a Disney Cruise) and it was one of the best vacations I’ve ever been on. I’ve heard that Disney Cruises are truly magical experiences. I really want to go on one!
I went on a cruise for the first time four years ago. I wouldn’t mind going on another one, especially a Disney Cruise!
I bet y’all had fun! We’ve never been on a cruise and I think if we’ll ever take one, it would be the Disney Dream Cruise. 🙂 That printable is cute. Thanks1
I have always wanted to go on a Disney cruise. I would love to be able to take my family. We’ve never been on any cruise before. That Mickey printable is so cute too!
The magnet is adorable, but can we talk about that dress?! That is the PERFECT Disney outfit!!
Haha, thank you! I was Disney bounding on the first day of our cruise! I got that awesome dress on Amazon!
Do you have a link to the dress? Soo cute! Thanks.
Our family has enjoyed first the Disney Wonder and then the Disney Dream both at Christmas. They were amazing, magical, memorable and oh! So expensive! But worth its every thousands of dollars spent! Our kids will always remember. They are now teens and looking forward to our next cruise soon on the Disneys newest ship in a few years. Thanks for the printable from Canada!
Thank you so much! I’ve been searching high and low for a free template or at the very least the dimensions of the hole in order to print.
Thank you so much for the door magnet! Sharing it is very generous!
I have nearly came to my wits end looking for something that I did not have to purchase.
Where did you make the one with your name on it? at the bottom of door??
I bought that one on Etsy!
Thank you so much for the free download! Can’t wait to put on my ship door in a couple months!!!
Thank you for the printable, I’m so excited, our first cruise ever!
Great idea with the stateroom door decoration! The Mickey is adorable. Is there a Minnie Mouse one as well?
I love your Fish Extender – can you let me know where you got it or how to make it?
Thank you so very much for providing the free printables! I do have a question… You say that each of these must be printed separately – does that mean that each ear and each hand must be printed separately, too, or do I print those on 1 page? I am super excited to get started on these for our cruise in August!!
Thanks for sharing the templates for Mickey. Printing out the ears must take a LOT of ink!
