The second phase of my P90X is officially complete…. Too bad I didn’t follow the plan! I could’ve been ripped by now! 🙂

end phase 2

Well maybe not really! It’s going to take a miracle to tight up my post baby belly! But I’m sure it would help tightening and toning all over!

Although I haven’t been working out like I should, I’m still trying to be conscious of my choices. I am doing my FIRST 5K at the end of April with my sister and even though we’re not trying to win the race, I’d like to do better than last place!

Exercise is an important part of the preparation process for me right now but food also plays a big part of your overall health and well-being. My sweet little girl turned one over the weekend and we ate lots of greasy food and fattening cupcakes!

I can always tell when I’ve made unhealthy choices. The next day I can feel the toll it has taken on my body! When I make wholesome choices, I feel energized and ready to take on the world! I have 27 days until my 5K and I’m doing to take advantage of every day!!

That means making better overall choices… Skipping dessert. Taking the stairs instead of the elevator. Eating just one cupcake at the birthday party, not five!
